The Fall Classic was the brain-child of our fellow Board member Brent Alexander, along with Ed Meyer and (now Board member) Nate Jones.  Along with plenty of help from our sponsors Jason Billups (Billups Classic Cars), Scott Fuller (Fuller Reproductions) and of course Barrett-Jackson, the Fall Classic was born during the Pandemic of 2020.  During a time when we weren’t sure if we could host the event, the pandemic released it’s grip just enough in the summer to open registration.  The first Fall Classic was held on Friday & Saturday, October 9-11 at the fabulous French Lick Casino & Resort...just before the world began to shut-down again with a second wave of Covid-19.

The event was such a success that our sponsors quickly focused their attention on a second event in 2021.  Many of us thought the 2020 show could not be topped, but boy were we wrong.  We are now heading into our 5th Indiana SAAC Fall Classic...at the same resort...with the same sponsors.  This year’s event will take place on Friday & Saturday, October 11-12 and is now co-hosted along with SAAC National!

Much like the name suggests, the Fall Classic is meant to celebrate the Vintage Boss, Shelby, Cobra, GT-40 and other Specialty Fords with an indoor (climate controlled) display and Concours judged show in the French Lick Pavilion.  The Concours judging will now be done to SAAC National standards on 4-post lifts.  Not to worry if you are a Late Model owner, as the show is open to spectators at no charge and we have the entire Orange Lot and Parking Garage adjacent to the Pavilion for an All Ford Cruise-in, with no charge or registration required.  This is a prestigious event, with some very high dollar cars that you don’t want to miss...even if just as a spectator!
